Bosch CCTV distance dilemna30 Nov 2009 07:41 GMT5
I have a local client that has a campus with 8 buildings.  Buildings
1 through 7 have all their CCTV piped over to building 1 via twisted
pair, and the Bosch Bi-Phase over 18ga shielded twisted pair.  All is
good with 6 of the buildings. (building 8 has a completely different

Recently installed a TL-150 (IP module) on a DSC PC5010 and while it
transmits codes properly,  we're getting recurring General System
Supervisory troubles that seem to happen on the hour.  Might skip an
hour or two but if it happens, it's always on the hour.  Network

Do the Altronix enclosures have predrilled holes to mount DIN rails, or do
you drill your own holes as needed?  Given that the Altronix DIN PSBs are
different sizes, I'm guessing it is the latter.  Do you prefer the Altronix
enclosures and DIN rails for mounting DIN accessories, ...
