wireless cameras30 Jul 2008 18:43 GMT2
I went to look at a job today at a big nursery outfit. something like 50
acres under production. I will have to spec out wireless cameras for them
as trenching would be a nightmare with all of the buries lines and pipes.
For the distances involved i am not sure what to look at. ...
Dear "Well Known National Alarm Company":30 Jul 2008 02:43 GMT5
The ULC certificated system you installed two years ago at this grade
school was bogus.  The fact that you certified the system was nothing
more than a money grab.  Here is a list of deficiencies we found (and
corrected) when we took over the system:
Defective RJ31/CA 38 A Line Exclusion Jacks28 Jul 2008 21:23 GMT8
RHC: I'm wondering if anyone else is having a problem with poor
quality line exclusion jacks and cords. Canadian suppliers invariably
stock only the Chinese imports, and lately we've been finding that
almost one in three jacks or cords comes out of the box defective.
ESL 1500 transformer28 Jul 2008 15:18 GMT10
I have an ESL 1500 5 zone FACP missing a transformer. It would appear
the previous installer removed it. The previous installer, an
electrician lost his alarm guy so its now on me to install.  My
knowledge base is with Fire-Lite and Notifier this is probably my

I want to replace a recessed sensor that someone prior placed a non
metal contact in a metal door.
I need to drill out the hole bigger.  But I don't want to bugger up
the wire drilling.

Ok experts,
What alarm board do you recommend that would work with my existing XL4600SM
keypad?  My current board is locked out so need replacement.
Or do you think I should replace the whole system?
FBII XL-21 installer code override24 Jul 2008 10:55 GMT4
I just moved into a new home with a FBII XL-21 alarm system.  Previous
owner didn't leave me any information about the code and the alarm company
that they used no longer in business.
I have tried reseting the system and was able to reset the master user

“A Leamingotn area customer of ours just had his Alarmforce system

appears that our 2-way voice operator in the Central Monitoring Station ...
