Hello. I have my lynx system mostly installed. Until I get a permit I
signed up for the non dispatch service through nextalarm. I decided to
give their abn adaptor a try.
Armoring a phone cable and putting the dermac in the house sounds like

A friend of mine gave me a alegro from ADT.
The components i have are:
control panel with power cord
motion sensor (wireless)

What in a panel that has been installed over 10 years would change to draw
more current.
I changed the battery 5 month ago and it need ed a new on in a week,
thinking it was on the shelf too long I ordered one and changed it.

The false due to temp reminded me of a few I have seen.
I have had a couple folks over the years ask me to monitor their self
installed alarm systems.  I am always amazed that they don't understand why
I can't just magically make their ancient Radio Shack switch and buzzer box

Back in September lightning struck my self installed, wired alarm
system.  It is an old radio shack unit.  I replaced all contacts and
everything has been working fine until last night.  I had a false
alarm about 4 in the morning.  The zone that went off consists of 3

My house has 9 yr. old BRK wired-in smoke detectors. They are of the
ionization kind.  They have given false alarm problems.   I'd like to
replace them with newer BRK models but have been reading that this
brand is very poor when it comes to false alarms and random chirps.  I

After 3 perfect days in Rio we flew to Salvador for some R&R.  The
weather has been perfect -- it rained in Rio the day we left but we
haven't seen any rain at all in Salvador.  The temperature has been in
the low eighties mostly with a calm sea breeze every day.
