I have a DSC MD12 modem and it seems I often fight with getting a
working connection to panels that I know are programmed properly...in
fact if I go back to DLS1 and a 1200 baud modem on exactly the same
panel and I connect without issue.  This is all fine and good except

Using Fluke 87V as Battery tester?13 Aug 2007 15:09 GMT1
I have the ELK Battery tester for testing Panel Batteries. It says
that it is a Conductance tester and measures in MHOs/Siemens. Now the
Fluke 87V has a Conductance tester built in to it. So would that not
be the same and I could just use a 87V for testing panel batteries?
