I'm looking for suggestions for a night time outdoor wireless video surveillance camera with USB capable receiver for recording to a PC. The camera would be mounted under a carport and not subjected to any weather except for temp and humidity.

I am new to alarm system. I am trying to install a FBI xl 2t alarm system. Can I install vibration sensor and magnetic sensor in series ? Can I use a remote sensor to arm/disarm the system ?

We are going on vacation, with a neighbour coming by daily to feed the cat. We still want to arm our home but not give the neighbour our family's access code. I assume we can program another code for them to use for the short time we are away? And then it can be cleared upon

We are upgrading our commercial alarm & access control system to one sold by another vendor. Our current system has a database consisting of our cardholders, alarm point descriptions, instructions etc. which we'd like to "mine" and copy to our new system.

Just installed one of the new DSC 1832 panels. Gone is the programming worksheets booklet, replaced by a fold-out map-like sheet with everything jumbled up and out of sequence. Time to fire up the choke-a-matic on this one.

Added a PC-5100 to a PC-5010. Every time I try to add the module either by Auto Detection or Manually in the Downloading software, it will not add to the system. Tried calling tech support on Friday the 29th for help and no one was able to help. "You will have to speak to a manager ...
