I just moved into a new house with an FBII XL-31 system. The previous
owners never used it and didn't know the user code. I would like to use
the alarm without connecting to a central station. I have the
installation manual and using the installer code read out the contents

Hi. I have been out of the game for a while but have a problem with a
mates Esprit alarm I am trying to help him with.
Returning from holiday he found the keypad has gone completely dead but
the PIR sensors are still activating.

Wireless alarm system are "deaf" and "dead" during the transmition
with an external low power transmitter on the frequency.
This problem is well known in telecommunication and is called "Radio
Frequency Interference" (RFI).

I'm looking for some guidance on a problem I am having with my alarm
system.  Back in July ADT installed a Safewatch PRO 3000 in my home and
