Can these still be activated?  (The black metal can version...)
Just got a house with one installed with a DSC system, but no
monitoring and I keep getting the sales folks trying to sell me new
equipment.  After testing the system, it appears to be in working

Does anyone know the code to reset this system  or have the manual
this this Honeywell 5600 if so would you please post or email me

Has This Country Gone Completely Insane?

I just bought a house with an ademco vista 20se (with e2 programming).
The alarm has not been used in quite some time and nobody seems to know
what the code is, although the alarm appears to work fine- at least, it
detects when there is motion, doors are opened, etc.

I hate proprietary distribution.  Any big system of any kind seems to be
proprietary in their distribution.  Intercom, phone, fire.  Doesn't matter.

Got a Z1100 system II I need to upgrade the cell back unit on.  It is
sending 4X2 so I shouldn't have any problems just plugging in a TG-4, but I
figured it would be nice to reprogram it to one of my low price lines and

Unfortunately, Honeywell has donated a large sum of equipment for our
use. I am now constantly reminded WHY I refuse to personally use their
equipment! Frustrated and pissed off! Coming from a guy who easily
program a NApco MA3000 via keypad, I'm at my wits end with this garbage!

I have had multiple problems with door alarm security plus the cell backup
package set up by a national company for the last one month.

I am having trouble geting to the easy menu mode. On Page 47 of the
install manual it shows the easy menu mode. I am trying to access the
area of "# of zns in Area!1*" "Exit/Entry Zones, Interior Zones, chime

PC3000 cant send SIA or CID can it? Pain in the butt DSC stuff.
