I was just checking the boards and seen to where some comments were
being discussed in regards to the SurGard's MLR2000 back in Sept of
2005. Was wondering if there was anyone in this group that was still
working with these and wanting to do some cross discussion on this

need help to reset 449CST wireless smoke detector

Either I am not getting the pricing everyone else is getting on CCTV equip.,
or dealers on the net are selling below cost.. I am getting better pricing
off the internet on Pelco than from my supply house!  Anyone else seeing
this trend?

I'm not up-to-date in the latest security camera and DVR technologies,
and need a quick primer, something that explains what's what, how much
it should reasonably cost, and the pros and cons of different things.

I have door alarm and cell backup package with one of the national security
companies.
It was installed last week. Three days ago the zone 2 alarm went off and
they called me even though I was at home and the system was not even armed.

We have a Newlec NL5704 Fire alarm system in our house, but one of the call
points has accidentally been enabled.  They have resettable plastic elements
but as far as I can tell I need a key to reset the plastic element, and
reactivate the call point.  Any ideas where I can get ...

Anybody know where I can get an adapter that connects a BNC wire from a DVR
monitor output directly to a computer VGA monitor ?
Would it work at all or do I need to connect the BNC to a computer and then
the computer to a monitor to get the camera images on the computer monitor.

Is there a web page that sells these devices. i am after a mini DVR
Card or one that fits in a mini ATX case for instance.
Any responses appreciated.
