Just installed, no power to keypad, ect., new battery/transformer. Fuse
ok, test light shows power up to terminals but nothing to terminals.
Heat sink seems to get too hot when plugged in. Same result
with/without resistors bridging used & unused terminals. Sound like bad

As is customary, my first post is a begging plea for experienced
recommendations.  Please bear with my lack of knowledge and thank you
in advance for your suggestions.
My wife and I have recently purchased a row home in an 'improving' area

I have a car with a remote lock.  Over a period of several years it
seems that the range becomes smaller and smaller.  Right now I need to
be within few feet from the car for it to work.
I've replaced the battery.  What else might be happening?

The same building i found the Novar alarm in had a window sticker that said
paymaster security system in use
think its the same company that makes the paymaster check stamper that was
used to prevent fraud is this what the sticker was refering to or was there
