I am trying to add a new door to my brinks home security system. I have another door already on the system approimately '6 from the new door. Can a relay a line off of the existing door or do I need to run a line back to the box? Thanks for your help!

I hope someone here can help or knows where to look. Recently I saw some smoke detectors that fitted the majority of their bulk into the ceiling space so they were much less obvious - does anyone know the ones I am talking about as I cant find them now.

Is the only way to reset the master code on a Galaxy 512 by dialing into it using Galaxy Gold? Don't want to loose everything on the panel, and the Reset MGR option doesn't default the code as its a 512 as opposed to a 500.
