My take on this group is23 Jan 2006 04:16 GMT1
Pretty darned good!  I am a ROF (retired old fart) who was growing
suspicious of the BS being thrown my way by local security firms and decided
to become a DIY.  I bought a used home (a little over a year ago) with an
FBI system that has become flaky and I decided to replace it ...

I recall seeing a touch screen wall remote for a home audio system that had
video feeds from their video surveillance system.  Anybody know which brands

replacing radionics panel19 Jan 2006 05:38 GMT5
I recently bought a house that came with a security system.  The main
control panel is a radionics 2412U or something like that.  The existing
company is giving me a tough time on my VOIP setup - hey its not my fault
they won't support a new and fast growing technology.
ELK M1 compatability with Brinks systems19 Jan 2006 03:11 GMT1

anyone know if the existing sensors (doors, motion, smoke) will wire
directly to the ELK with no changes?  I assume the phone connection is
OK and the number of wires needed for the control panels is adaquate
