Ive installed a new Siren and it works fine now except that when i trip the alarm the siren doesn sound???? I do the Bell Test and it Sounds fine and i can make it go off manually but for some reason it wont go ff when the Alarm is tripped.

I recently bought a house that came with a security system. The main control panel is a radionics 2412U or something like that. The existing company is giving me a tough time on my VOIP setup - hey its not my fault they won't support a new and fast growing technology.

I am thinkin of replacing my current Brinks panel with an ELK M1. Does anyone know if the existing sensors (doors, motion, smoke) will wire directly to the ELK with no changes? I assume the phone connection is OK and the number of wires needed for the control panels is adaquate
