I recently purchased a home that has an Ademco Vista-15P panel and one
keypad installed.  The  local company that installed the system has set
his own lockout code and refuses to unlock the panel or reset to
factory default.

Check this link showing AUTHORIZED dealers. Talk about sticking in the small
independents a.s BIG TIME.
Time to boycott ADI / Honeywell / Ademco.

Can the MA 3000 send cancel code when disarmed after alarm?  How might I
do this?  couldn't find in software.  You Napco guys have any ideas?

Does anyone know anything about the national House bill that was proposed to
go into effect in December? It had to do with tax breaks for people, both
residential (up to 5k) and commercial (up to 50k), that installed systems
that provided security. I read the bill but than lost ...

Took out a DS /radionics panel today at a machine shop and replaced it with
a ademco panel the shop ower took the old radionics panel and placed it in
the 50 ton shop press and put it in a box to ship back to Bosch.to show them
what he thought of there product

I've been looking at DVR cards for a home security system viewable over the
web. I was wondering if anyone had some answers to some questions I have.

My home is prewired for a security system and it appears that there are single
wires going to each window/door.  I am confused, though, how a single wire can
detect the state of a trigger on the end when there is no common ground?

I did a takeover today on a 5010.  It is a brand new unit, version 2.0 and I
have the appropriate software, however, I can connect, but the panel does
not send data and the connection aborts.  Tech Support thinks its a noisy
phone line, but it sounds perfectly clear to me.  It is ...
