high resolution camera make a difference?23 Oct 2005 11:29 GMT1
I just bought a DVR with a 160 gig hard drive and a cheap camera
yesterday.  The picture quality isn't all that great.  It's fuzzy.
According to the manual, its effective pixels is 628*582.  Resolution
is 380 lines.  I want to replace it with something a bit better.  The
non-stop recording is possible?23 Oct 2005 07:27 GMT3
I need to put a 24 hour surveilance camera in my store.  I'd like to
see everyone coming in and out of the back entrance.  Our store runs 24
hours a day.  I don't need multiple camera, just one.  It has to

Do you have a receiver who capture the wireless alarm frequencies and
did you pay attention to the numerous transmitters who generate
"permanent" transmissions on those frequencies?
For example (only a very small sample):
34. Is monitoring required?22 Oct 2005 16:40 GMT21
NO monitoring is not required just like dyers do as good
the installation job than "so called" pro's.
Too many false alarms have lead police to a point that they lower the
intervention priority of alarm calls.
30. Regardless the wireless brand..22 Oct 2005 16:37 GMT2
Regardless the brand, wireless alarm systems ARE unreliable whatever
the "so called low level electrician" pro's attempt to let you
believe.
Its brand independent because radio waves behave alike in all
25. Newbee? Wireless RFI alarm OWL will hit you..22 Oct 2005 16:33 GMT2
YOU have a wireless alarm system who has that maintenance pro's
"imaginative" Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) detection circuit?
Wireless Alarm systems are still unreliable DURRING RFI but...
If that famous "undocumented" and "manufacturer unsupported" RFI
24. RF Interference detection, does it exists on Wireless Alarm System ?22 Oct 2005 16:31 GMT3
Everybody knows that wireless alarm systems are unreliable during
Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) because the transmission path of
signals between sensors and wireless receiver is muzzled by an
external transmitter causing RFI.
