Ademco22 Jun 2005 01:35 GMT3
i am looking at Honeywell's new 6270 TouchCenter keypad.  I says that it
works with a Vista-20PS.  I can only find a Vista-20P in ADI's catalog.
Does anybody know the difference?  Also what is the difference in price?

36. Yes i confirm Wireless unreliability since 200121 Jun 2005 12:54 GMT3
I post on a regular basis since 2001 that wireless alarm systems are
unreliable during Radio Frequency Interferences (RFI).
Since that time, several professional specialists (they call
themselves like that but I don't see why in view of theyre knowledge)
Home Alarm and Vonage20 Jun 2005 22:51 GMT24
I recently switched to Vonage and for awhile my home alarm system could
not dial the monitoring station to check in, when I lost my local phone
service.  I recently isolated the home phone lines and can use them as
before with multiple phones, but the home alarm still cannot call ...

34. Why my multiple posts about wireless un-reliability?20 Jun 2005 03:07 GMT1
I'm fed-up with innocent victims of unprofessional alarm sellers who
hide reality.
NO QUALIFICATION PRE-REQUISIT REQUIRED to be a so called pro..
How less they know, how less they have moral problems to sell
35. Is monitoring required?20 Jun 2005 03:06 GMT5

the installation job than "so called" pro's.
Too many false alarms have lead police to a point that they lower the

Car Alarm Install problem19 Jun 2005 18:52 GMT2
I've not done installs of car alarms in many years - figured it couldn't be
any worse than audio, right? Well, after the nightmare of installing my new
CD player I should have known better <g>!
Anyway, I have a Kia Spectra and bought a Hornet 727T alarm. That's the
31. Never yours when you choice an installer..19 Jun 2005 10:47 GMT15
When you choice to have a pro-installer/monitoring of the alarm system

were the right cards for a system I was working on.  They weren't.  I have
had them too long to send back.  Anybody want them?
Card numbers are:
Integrated security solution19 Jun 2005 03:35 GMT15
We are considering an integrated security solution;
combination of burglar alarm, fire alarm, access control, etc.
However, the client don't want a system merely putted together.
They need a combined system.
