Got a  kaba bedanet 9340 electronic clocking system. Can't telnet into
it because it's password protected. Know you can access it via a serial
cable. Anyone have a wiring diagram because Kaba want to charge a
fortune for one?

I posted the last message about internet phones and losing customers.
Thanks for all those responses.  I learned a ton about trhis subject.
I found that my customer uses Lingo voip service.
Apparantly Lingo just sends you a voip module in the mail.

I am looking for an inexpensive receiver for alarm signals sent over
the phone.  This system is being used in a non burglar monitoring
situation.  We are using DSC 864 panels to send the signals.  I know
DSC and maybe others make a card for a PC, but it runs about $1,500.00,

I cannot get my Power832 communicator to dial my cell phone. After a
forced alarm, the event buffer shows the (deliberate) zone opening but
shows no attempts to communicate at all. There are no FTCs in the
buffer, and no call is made to my cell phone. Other than this

Hi, I recently removed the power & battery (Yuasa)  from my panel as we
were having work done on our home. After several days when the work was
completed I restored the power. The problem was the date & time were as of

Well I have a reason to buy a security system now that I almost lost
my new atv.
So whats your opinion on me getting ADT to come out and install, or me
buying the Powermax + system and doing it myself.

So when I arm my FA168CP unit, I get the normal delay beeping.
However, when this is over, the siren sounds for 1-2 seconds.
Otherwise, the system works as I would expect it to...
Is this normal?
