thought it would be kind of interesting to find out which system is
most trusted by alarm professionals in their own home.

Is there a way to make this panel dial out any faster than what we currently
have? We are experiencing 30-48 seconds from time signal is created (HUB) to

I recently bought a house with a NAPCO ALERT 1000e keyboard and matching
control.  Unfortunately, I can't do anything with the alarm system.  I'd

When I was with freeserve, I could get the newsgroup:

I would like to build a 433 receiver to talk with RF motion detector. I try
to find some information or standard like sia to be able to talk with it.

How is a cable to use on the PL513 interface different than a standard
phone cable?

-  Wireless Alarm Systems are UNRELIABLE during
   Radio Frequency Interferences (RFI);
-   Theyre is no warning that the system is muzzled to dead.

Curious...what wage range does a fire alarm installation professional get in
the major markets? I'm talking about someone licensed, experienced and
certified by the state, city or NICET, who can build a complete project
through inspection without undue supervision.
