I want to monitor existing 120v smokes by connecting to a wireless
transmitter ie) DSC WLS925 with universal alarm contacts if this is at
all possible.

Someone please help me.  I have tirelessly searched for a simple
solution to my home fire worries, and have yet to find something which
I feel should be a huge market.

I've been having a rash of RJ-31X failures...either that or I'm losing

OMG.  Someone just bought a house with an AT&T 8720 installed.  It's got a
dozen transmitters and they don't want to replace it.
I have no documentation on AT&T.
