Vista alarm panel problems23 Dec 2004 21:05 GMT4
I've just moved into a house with what appears to be a Vista R8 alarm
panel that was installed around 7 years ago.  I have downloaded the
manual from the website, but it doesn't seem to give the right
function codes.  I want to change the pin code and to do a walk test,
Napco keypad23 Dec 2004 06:40 GMT2
I just started to program my p3200 system and already have trouble. The
keypad says system trouble E10-01 and E23-00. Neither the armed or
status light is on. The pad can't be silenced by pressing reset as the
book says to do.

18/ Why does RFI jeopardize alarm opperation?22 Dec 2004 02:56 GMT2
In Wireless alarm systems, the internal required wireless receiver is
put during Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) in a position that he is
UNABLE TO RECEIVE and DECODE ANY sensor signal and by consequence he
is unable to give any kind of warning.
21/ Radio wireless alarm systems....22 Dec 2004 02:56 GMT5
Wireless alarm equipments are unreliable due to they're week point,
the radio wireless data communication between sensor and receiver.
Radio waves have well known inconveniences and Radio Frequency
Interferences (RFI) is one out of them.
