I have a client with an Ademco Vista 50P Control, they want the alarm
output to turn on outdoor lighting when the alarm goes off.
im thinking, give them the siren output, then they use a High Voltage
Relay like found at Radio Shack?

Today I programmed a silent knight addressable 5700 panel. I found out the
hard way that I should have stayed in bed :). I changed the user code from
1111 to 1234. I thought this was a good idea, until I tried to get back into
programming later. It seems the installer code is 123456 ...

Im setting up a 9 camera DVR (SuperCircuit DMR-9)
The problem is, the picture on the tv is scribbly and I can barely make out
the menus and camera views.
Does the DVR have the wrong kind of output to view on a TV? The same thing

Hi, does anyone know if there's some sort of microphone I could set up
inside my home that would be able to effectively record the sound outside,
through a closed window.
I've got a CCTV camera set up outside at the moment, but with no audio.

with an Ademco Vista 50, 2 7a batteries, will 5 indoor Ademco Wave
Sirens, 1 20 watt Revere, and 2 36 watt Revere Sirens, work okay? Or
do I need a power supply/extra batts? Never installed this many sirens
before.

I have a ITI concord express system in my home.  My windows are all
hardwired with magnetic sensors.(I believe magnetic?).  One of my
windows was starting to false chime...the system showing it was opened
when it was not.  It was steadily getting worse.  I popped the sensor

Thanks for the response regarding the ADT Safewatch 2000 alarm system. Just
out of curiousity, what does it mean "if not locked by ADT". Is that done
remotely as well...and if it is locked can someone unlock it?
