Hi, we just moved into a new office that has a caretaker security
system already installed.  Unfortunately the landlord doesn't have the
key, so we can't open the box.  The system beeps every minute, when i
plug a phone into it i get "System battery bad".  Anyway, I am first of

installed.
Before the previous owner died, I was given a piece of paper with all of
the 'codes' associated with the system (installer, master, duress, user).

My dvr (dmr-9) suggests, in the instruction manual, that the menus can be
controled with a computer via  RS-232 through a parallel port on the back.
There arent any instructions on how to do it though.
Can anyone send me a link on how to do this? also, the unit is broadcasting

In the napco installation book it says to use a 130W, 3W resistor in
the 2-wire fire zone??????????? did they mean 130 ohm 3w. Right now I
have a fault in that zone but am using a 2.2K Eol
