It seems I recently saw an RJ-31X DSL filter combo that provides for line seizure etc... I don't know why, but I didn't mark or save the item when I saw it. I must have been looking for something else. Any help here?

My house (before we gutted it) had an alarm system with recessed magnetic door contacts on the hinge side. An installer friend recommends against hinge side contacts. My wife liked the nonvisibility of the hinge side contacts (done by a previous owner).
