Lighning Strike07 Sep 2004 02:38 GMT57
A customer claimed that lighting struck about 100 yards away from
their home.  After the strike, the security panel and siren were
damaged.  Does this make sense, or should I worry about a greater
problem?

I put a new alarm system in at work,  and brought the old one home.  (DSC

But, the panel is locked out.   Does anyone know how to unlock this thing ?
your help would be greatly appreciated !

Is it the same programming in an Ademco Lynx to add a 4 button remote as it
is in the Vista range of panels?

ADT Software03 Sep 2004 21:06 GMT11
By any chance, is anyone willing to share the ADT module for the Compass
software?
We have a couple that need to be converted and it would be a whole lot
easier than going out to the sites.
2.. Discover  Wireless Alarm System.. >03 Sep 2004 17:15 GMT6
My wireless alarm system was "deaf" and "dead" during the use of an
FCC like authorized wireless radio "headphone", that simple...
Unfortunately this authority authorized and certified device
transmitted on the shared and not protected wireless alarm system
Help with Moose Z110003 Sep 2004 02:05 GMT7
I have a Moose Products Z1100 system, installed in my 17 year old
home.
During a recent Texas-Size thunderstorm, the system went haywire,
randomly short beeping, and more beeping.  Nothing would reset it.
Supervision of AlarmNet03 Sep 2004 01:03 GMT5
If you go with the cellular AlarmNet solution, how often does it get
supervised, and what options does Ademco allow for that?    Ideally I would
like it to be supervised not less than every 30 minutes, but my installer
says it would be once a day or once a week.
