What kind of camera can see a person in detail in pitch black outside
under tree shade with no IR illumination at 170ft.  
Would my Sony handycam with Nightshot & Supernightshot  and or B&W
film be able to pick up any IR illumination needed  for the camera at

not another - tropical storm dead on our path again here in the

I have a Napco Magnum Alert 1008eM security system.  The windows in my
office attack have the pull aparts and the silver tape.  It was done a
long time ago and they break connection a little too often, when they
are used.  The windows are single pane and I'd like to change to glass

some brand names for this, or techniques?   I called in a local warehouse
door firm, and they in effect said there is no way to harden the door, and
if someone wants in they can get in so don't worry about it. ...
