sorry for bringing this up again but I had another question about voice
dialers.
Is there any problems with using a plain voice dialer with vonage?  also do
I still need one of those special jacks for line seizure?

I am using a DSC power 864 panel. When system is in alarm and
you press any key on the keypad, The sounder silences for
several seconds...Is this normal? This problem seems to occur
randomly. Does not seem to matter whether in stay or away

For multi camera power supplies I first just told my vendor Send em some 16
camer a power supplies that will handle 16 cameras in environemental
housings with heaters and fans.

What is the recommended way to force an employee to have both a memorized
code number as well as some physical token, to authorize disarming the alarm

I have a 'old' Ademco 4140XMP alarm system with one 5706 wireless smoke
detector.  I know this systems is obsolete by any normal standards -
does anyone know where I can get another one of these smoke detectors?  any
help would be greatly appreciated - I am not ready for a system ...

In my last two video jobs I feel that the quality and fit of the 2-piece BNC
connectors I have been using is causing some problems.
The fit on the cable has been questionable.  In some cases the connectors
are almost impossible to fit onto the cable.  In others the center conductor

I know all of the concerns and laws about recording audio but does anyone
know of a monitor with speakers on the market. Needed for specialty install
with lawyers all over it. My attorney has me protected as well. The normal
distribution route isn't taking me to far.

I just received my ademco lynx and took a quick glance at the installation
manual. The thing could have been written in spanish and not made any
difference to me.
