    I guess about 3 years ago I stopped coming to alt.security.alarms and
today having a little time to kill I think I'll revisit and catch up.
    At the time I stopped visiting, some weird guy from france or someplace
overseas had a personal vendetta going aginst wireless ...

I have a problem with a Napco P-3200 panel, that has been installed
for only 2 weeks.  Last night, it missed the nightly test to
monitoring service.  This morning the keypad had "Failed to comm"
message.  A test later today by employee was not received by

Regardless of some that try to flood the fish by mentioning unrealized
performances of spread spectrum (SS) in wireless alarm systems,
regardless the invalid comparisons with military equipment, everybody
knows that wireless alarm systems are unreliable during Radio

I am hearing these days that CASI/Access Vision is no longer the premier
alarm monitoring package out there.  Does anyone have any feedback on that?

Don't thrust wireless alarm systems, use wired!!!

I have problem with some systems that have up to 6 detectors in series and
reports of false alarms. The difficulty of cause is determining which
detector us the culprit. I am looking for a solution to this problem. One
idea I had was to use a device I saw year ago from C&K system ...

I work in the security industry and am servicing older alarm systems with
multiple alarm detector per alarm input. Nowadays we dont have a problem
with too many alarm detectors for the number of alarm inputs. We buy a 16
input panel and just keep adding 8 input expander cards until ...
