My 580 installation manual has got loads of pages missing out of it and I
want to program the part set options for my home system that I installed
myself and works fine.  Please, please, please can someone send me the
installation manual or tell me out to do it!!!

I have an old Scantronic Avenger 6000 alarm board. I want to connect this to
a cheap GSM dialer. So that when an alarm is tripped I get the message...

I have a Z900 that died on me.  There is no power getting to the
sensors or key pads but the transformer is working.  I did check the
fuses.   bought another Z900 off of Ebay in the hopes that I could
transfer the eprom over and have all my old settings on my new unit.

I'm using a DSC5020, ESCORT 5580, expander 5108 and LCD keypad.  Everything
works properly however, using DLS2002, I'm not able to see neither the 5108
nor the LCD keypad, that's OK for the 5020 and ESCORT.
I'm a bit surprised because in the earliest stage of the installation, I saw

hi, i have been setting up a pc5010.  i have set pgm02 output to
'latched system strobe' with fire, medical, panic' attributes.  my
question is: when the user duress code is entered on the keypad, the
pgm02 output doesn't go low?  should it? if so, what did i miss.

How do I delay a emergency generator circuit from false trips? I have an
NX-8 in a radio tower site and as we get lighting strikes the Generator
starts and stops in 60 seconds.  Giving the monitor a line of alarm and a

Last night @ about 10:30, one of our accounts had an alarm.  Due to
the weekend, I do not know the particulars.  However, from reviewing
the daily report from the Monitoring service, I find that there was a
6 minute lapse from receiving the alarm signal to calling the police.

For years we have used the single digit code "1" for fire; "2" for
holdup; "3" for burglary; "8" low battery; and "9" for test.  Even
though this has and is working OK, I know that there are better
formats.  Using Napco Gem 3200/9600, what do you consider a better
