I have a client that broke the mounting clips holding their old smoke detector to the ceiling while changing the battery. Does anyone have one laying around? It doesn't have to work, I just need the plastic housings. Thanks

I'm about to build a new home here in the US, and my builder is going to let me run any low voltage wiring I want. I am planning on building a system byself. From what I gather, a wired system is the way to go since there will be no drywall up.

Need to have more power to run 7 keypads and 9 PIR's on a digiplex sys, as the aux output from the panel is only 700 ma. How is an extra 3 amp power supplies pos. and neg voltage tied in.

Problem: Customer can not arm system from one of two keypads. Facts: Two DSC 6-zone keypads in house, installed maybe ten years ago (a guess on my part). Simple system consisting of three or four doors and one or two PIRs.

ADT installed and monitored my home security alarm. If I want to add something, for example wireless arm/ disarm, is my only option to purchase and have ADT install the addition? Can I install myself? Are there websites that sell security equipment that ADT monitors?
