I have a client that broke the mounting clips holding their old smoke
detector to the ceiling while changing the battery.  Does anyone have one
laying around?  It doesn't have to work, I just need the plastic housings.
Thanks

New Home Build Help Needed16 Feb 2004 07:43 GMT60
I'm about to build a new home here in the US, and my builder is going to let
me run any low voltage wiring I want.  I am planning on building a system
byself.  From what I gather, a wired system is the way to go since there
will be no drywall up.

I have an Ademco Vista-15P security system with the 6160 keypad. Currently,

I just purchased a home with an installed First Alert FA162C security
system.  I would like a basic system that sounds an audible alert and
pages me and my wife.  I have no intention of signing up with a
monitoring service.  Looking around on the net I see almost no trace
Changing/ adding to systems14 Feb 2004 21:09 GMT7
ADT installed and monitored my home security alarm. If I want to add
something, for example wireless arm/ disarm, is my only option to
purchase and have ADT install the addition? Can I install myself? Are
there websites that sell security equipment that ADT monitors?
