I have a request by a store to install one of those door holders that keeps
the door locked untill they press a button to unlock it. They do not want
the entire door changed out or notched into it, and im sure there is a
device that can be mounted on the frame and on the door ...

RFI stands for Radio Frequency Interference, in other words, when two
(or more) simultaneous transmissions appears on the same frequency and
reaches the wireless alarm radio receiver this last get confused most
of the time due to what is called interference.

What is the basic difference between wired and wireless alarm systems?
It boils down to the "connections link" between sensors and control
panel of both systems, besides that sensor data connection link both
systems are alike.

Some pro's say that wireless alarm system are certified and due to
that Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) protected, lets put it in the
right context.

those $50 ( approx ) generic DVR cards at the big online auctionbay .

written by George De Marco from the Greater Alarm Co, Inc. I'd love to hear
people's thoughts on the article. I have a few of my own.

Can anyone point me to some documentation that explains how to program a
VISTA 20P with the Compass software.  I've checked out the FAQ on Ademco's
website and there's no manual on the disk.  The Compass disk does contain
