I need the configuration-software "Win-TPC" from Aritech (now Interlogix-Group). I asked the support now 3 times and they promised me every time to send the software but they never do. Any hint where to get the software except from Aritech?

Tried to install the RS232 kit today - via cat5 to windows 2k machine. Couldn't get Quickloader to recognize the ports on the machine, and now my keypads say "Out of System" just like they were in programming mode. Jumpers are OK in board, and power works to the keypads and

For basement windows of the "sliding type", are magnetic contacts really a good choice? I mean, what if a suspecting burglar simply breaks the glass carefully and gets inside without sliding the frame? (My basement windows are big enough for that to be possible.)

Who has a Simon 3? I was thinking about getting one for my home. I know it's wireless, does it use X10 or some other protocol? I've tried X10 and found it to be horribly unreliable. That may have been X10's products though. Is the Simon 3 rock solid, never a false

I have tested skyroute and uplink and skyroute has some buggy problems and sends unwanted signals to cs. and the annoying keypad beeps during the night if yoyu loose signal from the cell tower is bad, lot of complaints.
