RFI stands for Radio Frequency Interference, in other words, when two (or more) simultaneous transmissions appears on the same frequency and reaches the wireless alarm radio receiver this last get confused most of the time due to what is called interference.

The continuing ignorance of "so called pro's" about Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and that it exist and muzzle ALL wireless alarm system, YOURS TO (even the latest product/sold systems). Nothing in a reasonable priced, battery powered general public system

I have an Ademco system with 5816 wireless door/window transmitters. I'm trying to use a single transmitter to monitor both the right and left doors of a pair of patio doors. Is there a way to use a single transmitter with two contacts or do I need to mount separate transmitters ...

Then you should! Todays wireless systems work as good as a hardwired system, regardless of what the failed electronic tech paul says. Paul does make some killer Belgium waffles tho!
