Folks I'm trying to connect to a dsc 5020 panel (brand new) via  the
DLS 2002 software and I'm getting the following message…
"The panel has stopped responding to communications requests…"
I'm getting the same result with another 5020 panel.

Has anyone here set up or uses a dsc 632?  What do you think about it?
Was it easy to program and install, from a DIY point of view?
Will a snake be suffient to go through insulation?  If not what do I
need to install the wires in walls that have insulation?  (Hint:  I am

    I have a new Samsung SSC17 system. The cameras are CCD.   I
may have burned the 2 outside cameras by the sun. They have 3 small
white dots in the center at the bottom of the frame.   I didn't have

I don't know what those engineers were thinking about when they designed
their Napco panels, but I am sick and tired of programming Napco panels with
keypad alreaedy, enough is enough.

It appears I did unhook the front door from the alarm system.  The installer who fixed my inadvertant mistake didn't say how I did it, but he restored my dsc832 system back to normal.  From the manuals I downloaded, I don't see what section controls this...

I am a part time system administrator for a Security/File alarm dealer.  The
company currently uses QuickBooks for accounting/invoicing/payroll/etc.,
however they do not have a customer database that keeps track of what's
installed at a customer's site and the service call history ...
