Changing the plug on Welder Cable13 Jan 2008 16:57 GMT16
I just bought a used welder which is larger than my old one.  The
seller only sold the welder, not his cables.  The cables on my old
welder are fine, and are supposedly made for all welders.  At least
that is what I thought.  For some reason the plug on the Ground Cable
Things are looking up!11 Jan 2008 23:47 GMT1
If you are a contract grazier, things are really looking up. Corn is limit
up, wheat is out of sight and it's going to be really hard on the grain
feeders. So, if you've got stockpiled winter pasture you can just about name
your price. You could probably get double to carry dry ...

A nuke that you just truck in, plop down, make power for 40 years or so and then just
truck back to the factory for refurbishing.  No muss, no fuss and no environmental
Long time no see11 Jan 2008 05:11 GMT39
How's everyone been? I *see* a few familiar faces.
I see Larry so it looks like the storm hasn't blown him away yet.
The same storm has melted most of our snow but it's getting colder
and began snowing off and on awhile ago.

What's the best way to sharpen an ax? I have a two bitted one I need to

Haven't used one in years;but the other day I was helping cut up an oak

in recent discussion the questions concerning which sin is the worse
and is there an unforgivable sin have been asked and pondered.  by
taking a look into the Word of our Father we can be certain of His
unending and undying love for each of us.
Repairing a Tractor Tire Chain08 Jan 2008 13:42 GMT3
I had one of the cross links break on my tractor tire chains.  This is
one that goes from the left to the right on the tire.  The link broke
and is now gone.
I know they sell those links that screw together, but I dont think
Wood Grenade log splitter08 Jan 2008 04:23 GMT17
Has anyone here used the "wood grenade" splitter from Lehman's?  How
about a similar one? These work as a wedge but come to a single
point--they're shaped differently from a wedge. Here's a picture:

Our Minister must be a Cattle Rancher07 Jan 2008 02:21 GMT2
Every Sunday I go to church and I hear out minister talking about
buying bulls.  I bet he says "buy bull" at least 20 times during each
service.  Why would I wanna buy bull when I dont even raise cattle?
Sharpest possible knife?07 Jan 2008 01:33 GMT12
What can I use to sharpen knives to their utmost razor sharpness? I am
already using a diamond-impregnated steel kitched sharpener to do a
fairly good job, but (for want of a better phrase) I still can't shave
with the things. I was considering buying a tabletop belt sander with
Looking at biodiesel for home heating oil.06 Jan 2008 23:12 GMT20
The methyl esterified version should work as a blend or maybe even
straight. Ordinary vegetable would have to be pre-heated to get the
right viscosity. Has anybody out there tried it?-Jitney
Appeasing a beaver?06 Jan 2008 04:58 GMT6
The ditch near my home suddenly has a new resident, a beaver.
So far it has been quite helpful, taking down three overgrown willows
that I'd been meaning to prune for some time.  But when it's done with
the willows, I don't want it moving on to our fruit trees.

which is refundable if the project does not get approved or ,if
