Is this a Ranch?04 Jul 2007 16:31 GMT4
Over the weekend I had some visitors from the city.  Their 15 year old
son was moaning and complaining that he wanted to go home to play his
xbox or whatever that thing is called.  He finally took his pocket

Chainsaw question02 Jul 2007 15:31 GMT12
I have an ageing Stihl chainsaw, which is still running fine, except that it
seems to pump out very little chain oil onto the chain.
I'm pretty sure that until recently I'd get through at least half a tank of
oil to a tank of petrol; now it seems more like one tank of oil to four ...

The 4th of July is quickly approaching
No matter where you go on the 4th of July, someone is going to try to
force you to say The Pledge of Allegiance This 4th of July.

"Justices overturn ban on price-fixing"02 Jul 2007 14:34 GMT4
"Manufacturers can set a minimum price for their products and forbid
retailers from offering discounts, the Supreme Court said Thursday in a
decision that overturned almost a century of antitrust law and could

80% of the US population lives in metropolitan areas. Seems I read
that 1% of the total population lives on the farm, and maybe 2% in
small towns, the rest in 2nd tier cities like Green Bay, Springfield,
Home on the Range02 Jul 2007 12:27 GMT62
A few months ago, I decided that since I wait tables for a living, I
might as well go wait tables somewhere cool for the summer.  One thing
led to another and here I am....working as a cook on a working cattle/
guest ranch in Wyoming.

Getting rid of houseflies01 Jul 2007 18:04 GMT13
I just moved into an old farmhouse a couple weeks ago and have been
having trouble with flies.  The house is an old log house built about
1850.  I am in Wisconsin so it is too cold for the flies outside and I
can't figure out where they're coming from.  I tried those sticky fly
