My home is in a semi-rural neighborhood and has a septic system.  When
I purchased this house, 25 years ago, I knew nothing about septic
systems.  I now consider myself a highly informed consumer due to my

Does anybody know if I can dry gourds (to make bird houses later)
outside in the winter (in Minnesota).  I know they will freeze solid,
but will they eventually dry?   Maybe they will just rot.  That's what
happened last year when I tried drying them in the house.  I think only
