This fall I will be moving from a city of 5 million to a town of 45 000
where agriculture and factories are still the 2 biggest employers in town.
I left the farm when I was 18 so really I have no idea what it's like to

State came along with a tractor-mounted sickle-bar mower doing the road
berm. When the operator came to the approx 800' I'd mowed myself, he
did put the bar up. But did he speed the tractor up? ... no, he putted
along at the same (slow) rate for the full distance.

I was out in my driveway earlier, rationalizing why I shouldn't mow the
lawn today, when I heard a familiar motor sound coming up the hill. It
was a Model A Coupe. Gave a big wave and got an oo-ga in return.
