over.  They do a good lunch crowd and a really large Friday night fish
fry crowd.  The fish is damn good and people flock there from miles
around.

They don't identify themselves when calling anymore!31 Aug 2006 04:44 GMT79
It used to be that people would call me and say "Hi this is Fred calling" or
"Hi this is Jim", etc.
These days, especially with the younger people, they call and say "Hey". Or
say "What you doing?" Then I need to ask them who is calling or guess.

Well, fall is approaching and the yellow jackets in the Coast Range of
Oregon have decided to make a last ditch effort to make life miserable
for us.

Someone actually paid me for the junk pickup a couple years ago and,
today, the Honda wagon departed via rollback.  I'd figured if I waited
long enough the time might come when I wouldn't have to pay to have it
hauled off.  I was surprised they were so willing because there isn't a

tractor implement HP requirements25 Aug 2006 14:50 GMT4
I'm looking at, for example, flail mowers.
When they say "HP required", do they mean tractor HP or PTO HP (when not
specified)?
Also, when they give a min and max HP, will the implement really work well
Cant hook or peavey for handling logs?25 Aug 2006 05:46 GMT20
Need to be able to move a large quantity of 24-28" diameter logs, during
cutting.  I don't have local access to a cant hook or peavey, to see which
one works better (just rolling/moving the individual logs).  Any preferences
for either tool, based on actual experience?  Note that ...
