We are starting to get a LOT of ticks hereabouts (Northern Neck of VA).
Today, I killed three ticks with a small white spot in the middle of their
back:  one on the couch (via the dog, I think), one "looking for lunch" on
my daughter, and one in her hair just starting to settle down ...

A while back me and my neighbor had trees knocked down by a tornado.
They had someone come out to look over the trees.  I haven't heard back
yet but he said they paid one third of the money they got from the mill
and paid the landowner after they were paid.
