| Problems with New Deep Well Pump | 30 Jun 2006 12:24 GMT | 1 |
After 30 years of service, our old pump gave up the ghost. The "well people" came out on a Saturday morning and fixed me up. They pulled up some 180' of pipe and put a pump from their truck. So far as water delivery, I have no problems with the new pump.

| irrigation question | 22 Jun 2006 21:52 GMT | 21 |
I am installing a 1 1/2 HP pump for irrigation but it won't prime and pump. The inlet is 2" and the outlet is 1 1/2". I reused some old 3" pipe from a pond to the pump. The pump inlet is 5' above the pond water level including a slight grade and 150' horizontally from it.
