What's the cheapest method of keeping water drinkable over a long period of
time in storage tanks?...
How long could I expect to keep it fresh?
I've seen stuff sold at RV stores, but is that safe for everyday use for

We have a land problem, option to buy 7 acres of beautiful
rolling-to-level land, part open, part in small trees like dogwoods,
and part in a stand of very tall trees on both sides of a shallow
stream. Naturally the reason that no one has bought it before this is

Well pump electrical problem17 Mar 2006 14:40 GMT8
I have a well pump, for as long as we have owned the house, 7 years (15
year old well pump) the pump occasionaly stops. Once the pressure tank
is out of water/pressure we have no water. Inside the house is a switch

do you use store bought mulch around your house?16 Mar 2006 10:11 GMT1
If you use mulch around your house be very careful about buying
mulch this year. After the Hurricane in New Orleans many trees were
blown over. These trees were then turned into mulch and the state is

Rasberries15 Mar 2006 17:09 GMT17
I have about one acre of rasberries and they have not produced anything
worth while.  Usually they are very small and not worth picking.  Do
they need any special type of fertilizer to help them plump up?
Thanks!
Pruning Apple Trees14 Mar 2006 02:56 GMT17
I have a small home orchard with semi-dwarf apples, pears, cherries and
prunes, but that's not what this is about.
As part of the old homestead, long before my house was built or even
before the road was built, there was a standard apple tree orchard.

reaction but have discovered that in like last 6 months most vet supply
places either stopped carrying it or have suddenly decided to require a
vets prescription. There is 1 or 2 places still selling it OTC but I
