Another Freedom Bites the Dust17 Jan 2006 12:40 GMT50
Annoying someone via the Internet is now a federal crime.
It's no joke. Last Thursday, President Bush signed into law a
prohibition on posting annoying Web messages or sending annoying
e-mail messages without disclosing your true identity.

Stihl 036 exploded diagram?16 Jan 2006 21:36 GMT3
Hey Folks:
We're trying to find an exploded diagram of an
036 Stihl oiler online. I'm not having much luck.
Do you guys know where to find one?
Question on Stihl Chainsaw16 Jan 2006 03:47 GMT22
Ok serious question this time. The auto decompression valve on one of
my Stilhs (ms460) pops out each and every time I pull the starter. It
becomes a real pain as it has to be pushed back in each try. Is there
an easy fix for this or any recommendations?
move where15 Jan 2006 22:48 GMT174
i just would like to know, where it is nice to live in the us.
Jobwise, cost wise, environmentally, etc.
I prefer a mild climate. At the moment i live in Los Angeles, and
living is outrages here. I mean really expensive.
Water trough heaters -- leakage current problems15 Jan 2006 15:46 GMT8
Why do these damn things seem to leak current? My country-cousin keeps
asking me electrical grounding questions but really the damn things
should be quadruple-insulated and not leak any damn current in the
first place. If there is even slight leakage (five volts) horses won't
New well pump question15 Jan 2006 15:38 GMT4
All,
I always like to find out the general answer to a question before the
experts come out to quote on a project...
With that being said, we are planning on having a new well drilled
Indicators of a "Good" Place to live13 Jan 2006 22:25 GMT113
That other thread where the guy asked about recommendations for a place to move
to got me thinking about indicators people might look for to point out good
places(or bad places) to live.
One thing that I thought about from living here in the Ozarks, I've noticed a
E-85, maybe13 Jan 2006 17:29 GMT28
By chance, when I bought an S10 in 2000, it was one of the flex-fuel PUs
GM produced to meet fleet fuel economy standards.  Of no consequence
though because E-85 isn't available here (N PA).  But there is an article
in today's NYTimes that NY's governor Pataki wants to "make ethanol ...
Knocking instead of ringing doorbell12 Jan 2006 20:05 GMT22
When I lived in the city, everybody would ring the doorbell.
Now living in a rural area, most people knock on door instead of ringing the
doorbell. And if I'm upstairs, I can't hear them knocking.
Why do rural people do this?
Need a tough jacket for logging12 Jan 2006 14:44 GMT61
I need a jacket, above all else tough, not so hot that I cant work in
it. I want to be able to sweat like a pig and not get too wet inside,
if thats possible. I need it for logging, so it will get quite a hard
time.

How Dry it Is (Oklahoma)12 Jan 2006 00:06 GMT52
I took a drive this morning to the lake that supplies water to the
nearest town to where I live. This 358 acre lake serves about 8500
residents of the city and also serves many county residents.
According to today's edition of the local newspaper the lake is losing
Water Pressure Pump11 Jan 2006 18:29 GMT6
Water coming from my 1500 gln water holding tank
gets too weak, when it's down to 2/3 of the tank.
Anybody out there, who had a similar problem and could recommend an electric
Water Pressure Pump (not a gasoline model), that starts pumping, as soon as
storm windows need paint stripping11 Jan 2006 04:11 GMT3
What would be the best way to strip several layers of paint from wooden
storm windows of an old farm house?
Any helpful suggestion are appreciated.
