Buying The Right To Polute 31 Dec 2005 05:28 GMT2

Help - Rats in my pick-up truck30 Dec 2005 22:10 GMT29
just got my pick-up truck back from my mechanic.
Some sneaky rats got into it and ate some wires near the carburetor.
It disabled my truck and I had to get it towed.
It cost me $400 just to repair the damage!
Rebuilding NOLA30 Dec 2005 02:59 GMT69
It just occurred to me that, with a projected sea level rise of 3
meters over the next century, rebuilding New Orleans probably doesn't
make much sense.
Tractor too large29 Dec 2005 12:10 GMT11
I just bought a NH boomer tc45DX with all the bells and whistles,
loader, forks.  This tractor is just too big for my property. I traded
up from a TC 33, but wanted more hp. Now I'm sorry.
I would like to trade it for a JD 3720 which is much smaller but with

yesterday morning.
Elaine: "Terri, I made a bunch of pralines and brought them to work
so if you'd like some, stop by my desk and help yourself."

What brand and type of spin on oil filters are best?
1.Are the ones installed by quick change shops (Jiffy Lube) as good as
the regular and premium filters sold at auto parts stores?
2. Someone told me that the NAPA gold filter is the best.  true?
Fresh eggs questions26 Dec 2005 14:02 GMT11
Okay, how long do I need to leave fresh eggs from my hens
in the fridge before I can hard-boil them and be able to
easily peel the shells?
And who has the best eggnog recipe? 'Tis the season, and I've
Glow plug modification26 Dec 2005 04:35 GMT4
How long do old-fashioned glow plugs last? I don't know when they last
worked in our old Allis Chalmers 5150 tractor, but I just bought a new
one for $96.40, and it looks fragile, with a 1/2" coil of wire inside
a metal sleeve.
Night Has Descended On Freedom In U K, We're Next24 Dec 2005 22:14 GMT20
Night has descended, on Freedom, in Britain.
Is this the next step in our loss of Freedom in America??
God protect us from the advancing Police State.

Salvation Army Bell ringers.24 Dec 2005 21:37 GMT114
What the Salvation Army is doing is overall good.  But some of the
problems are:
1. A few bell ringers have been caught taking the money.
2. A few bell ringers ring the bell loudly and aimed at people to harass
Tanning pelts24 Dec 2005 19:43 GMT35
I have a pond and trap muskrats because they damage the
breastworks with their holes. Normally I dispose of the animal but I
thought this winter I'd try a round of tanning the pelt and making
something out of it. I did skin one muskrat and tanned it but the hide
Happy Holidays to All Branches in Services24 Dec 2005 19:04 GMT3
And a special word of thanx to the thousands of men and women baby killers
of the Untied States of Anemia. They serve proudly behind high tech death
rays and hidden in bunkers. Ever thoughtfull of the cowardly ways of their
nation they go to great lengths to humiliate other ...

Light is returning24 Dec 2005 12:17 GMT1
It's been pretty grim.  Three hours and 42 minutes with the sun over the
horizon today, but at least we're gaining now.
It's been a difficult fall, with my brother going to jail and with finances
even more haywire because of it.  Had to take back a property from him and
