Meat Rabbits Breeding Stock Wanted31 Aug 2005 23:49 GMT9
I just subscribed to this group and found a very old thread on meat
rabbits.  Are there presently any meat rabbit breeders from western WA
in this group?  I am looking for some Champagnes d'Argent and
Californias.  Please feel free to email me privately.
The Republicrat Junta31 Aug 2005 06:40 GMT4
When the founding fathers spoke of a government "of the people, by the people, and for the people," were they simply indulging in a predilection for catchy phraseology? Or did they really mean it?
One need not search far for indisputable evidence that each of our three ...
Giant Catapiller - What is it?31 Aug 2005 03:33 GMT3
I found a giant catapiller in front of my barn today.  It was in some
soggy horse manure if that matters.  It's about 3 to 4 inches long and
3/4 inch thick.  Its sort of a pink and gray color with bright yellow
things sticking out of the face.  Noticable legs, and some fur.  It's
How to get on round barn roof?31 Aug 2005 01:51 GMT31
I just repaired the triplex that burned thru and fell off an old barn
that is on my farm and needs serious repair.  When I went inside I
noticed that a sheet of tin has blown off the roof, and the wood is
starting to rot under it.  I intend to rebuild this barn when I can
About Pet Urine Remover31 Aug 2005 00:45 GMT3
I just saw your post about needing something to *permanently remove*
pet urine. I wish I had seen it sooner. I have a recipe that works
better than anything you can buy in the stores. And cheaper to buy too!
Yes, I do sell the recipe...but it only costs $3.00 (the money helps me

Gas Generator Storage, Maintenance and Use Questions29 Aug 2005 15:04 GMT5
We've never used the Homelite 5500 generator that came with our second
home until this past weekend.  Luckily it was stored by the previous
owner with no gas and no oil in it.  Not knowing what kind of oil it
took, I used 10-40, filled it half up with gas, and fired it up.  It
Just put up a new mailbox-taking bets29 Aug 2005 06:59 GMT13
I put up my mailbox at my new house this evening at about 7 pm.  My new
house is an old farm house, on a country road.  I got a rubber mailbox, so
dents won't show.  It's got to get knocked off the post or show obvious
damage.
Yellowjacket management29 Aug 2005 02:19 GMT14
I recently moved to a rural hillside site and am having trouble with yellowjackets. I did find
one nest & sprayed it, reducing the problem by about a third.
Anyone know of plants that they hate? I just want to reduce the numbers around the house & kids.
There are also plenty of ...

By any other name?28 Aug 2005 18:01 GMT3
In the final weeks of World War II in Europe, the American armies captured some 7 million German POWs. How could we deal with this mass of hateful monsters? General Eisenhower and the U.S. Army came up with a new legal designation for POWs: ...
