I am planning on building a new home on the old family ranch. The old home that
I lived in while growing up had a wind generator until R.E.A. came in during
the late 1950's. However that house and the buildings were bulldozed over after
my Dad sold the property in the mid 1960's. ...

Really 2 questions:
1. Favorite in a wood furnace, for long lasting heat.
2. Favorite in a living room fireplace, for aroma, look and general
burning impression.

Never seen cow shattering from cold. But have been in minus 60 degree weather
in Wyoming. For a week or so in December and later on a week or so in February
