Question: Rural vs. Urban Living12 Oct 2004 14:20 GMT59
I'm collecting stories about why people prefer rural to urban life.
I'm interested in hearing what people have to say about rural vs.

Are there any particular noticeable signs of a submersible well pump going
bad.  In the past couple of weeks, I've noticed that when it cycles on, I
hear three or four "knocks" in the pipes as compared to just the one when it
first kicks on, as it used to be.   If I hang out by the ...

We hear Bush supporters suggest that Amnerica will be ruined if Kerry is
elected, and we hear the latter say the same about the former. I

did some research and found out it is a very common practice to ban

Grease fitting problem on Kubota08 Oct 2004 03:55 GMT3

loader will not take grease. It is not the grease gun, cause it works
fine on other fittings. What's causing this? The little ball will
depress and all.

My dad died yesterday or is that today?  8am on Oct 5.
He was 80.  Last year we all "doubled".  My son turned 10, my daughter 20, I
turned 40 and dad turned 80.  I wonder how often that happens, but
anyways...

rest of the house can be several degrees cooler maybe even cold.  I even
made a doggie door to the room so the dogs can come and go.  The room is
