Adding vegetable oil in the septic system30 Sep 2003 17:47 GMT2
I've seen it mentioned here a couple times about dumping a
gallon of vegetable oil in your septic system when it stinks. Does anyone
know of any ill effects of this? Since it's on the top layer wouldn't it be
sent to the leech field and clog it up?
Help pls: info on Russo Glass-View stove30 Sep 2003 16:45 GMT2
I am moving into a (very small) house with one of these. Previous owner used
it almost exclusively for heat, and I'd like to do the same. Had chimney
cleaned and lined - it needed it! But the stove looks pretty good.
I can't find any info on this unit on the web or at shops, and ...
Hi, I'm new and have goat questions30 Sep 2003 13:35 GMT8
Anyone here own goats?  I have questions about raising Angora goats/
(where do you sell the fleece?  How much does it go for?  I've heard
there's a gov't subsidy, but don't know where to find out. )  Plus
lots of general questions about raising goats, like how hard is it to
AOL E-Mail Scam30 Sep 2003 11:47 GMT3
If you get an e-mail about having made a purchase from 1-800-Flowers.com, and
you need to "click here" to cancel the order, DON'T.
You will be taken to a false site that looks EXACTLY like 1-800-Flowers.com,
where you will be asked for your password.

available to run a vacuum cleaner?

We need Omaha beef prices, as we've heard that beef prices are

Big big fox29 Sep 2003 22:02 GMT28
I saw what I thought was the neighbors golden retriever in with our female
llamas this morning.  It was running around frantic, trying to find a way out
of the pasture.   I wasn't real sure of the dog, so I grabbed a pistol and
headed

Big chickens frozen in Glad Kitchen catchers29 Sep 2003 01:03 GMT11
I just had a few dozen BIG chickens (5-7 lb) slaughtered, and  ran out of
big freezer bags for the last dozen or so birds.
So I improvised and used the opaque white kitchen garbage bags to freeze
'em in.
Well Pump Acting Up28 Sep 2003 23:52 GMT4
Last time I replaced the relay for the well pump a couple of years ago it
was going on at 30# and off at 58#. Haven't had a chance to tear it apart
yet but the pressure tank gauge reads 28# at the shrader valve and the gauge
in the line in front of the tank seems to be fixed at 48#. ...
Ford 1500 Axle Needed28 Sep 2003 00:39 GMT6
We have a 1980 Ford 1500 4-wheel drive tractor which still runs great
... except that we just broke the right front axle.  We were quoted an
unbelievable price for a new replacement.  Does anyone have a line on
a used one?  If not, does anyone want to make an offer on the tractor

Dodging military service entirely, as Clinton did?  Or,
signing up for the National Guard, then going AWOL -
DESERTING, effectively - as Bush did?
Please explain your answers.  Use proper spelling,

I can only say it sucks and it sucks bad.
We now have to follow all their funky rules & regs.
I just wanted to put up a small shelter for the animals.
Nothing big, nothing elaborate, just a small quansot hut type of deal.
