Dear Friend's Toilet does not flush fully31 Oct 2008 00:09 GMT22
A friend of ours has a toilet in her condo that when flushed does not
go down the bowl all the way.  I also noticed that the tank is a
plastic *almost* facsimile of the tank that belongs there.
I tried different water height settings and still the water, once it

Cub Cadet Transmission Filter30 Oct 2008 22:47 GMT4
Model GT2550
Instuction manual says to change the transmission filter after the
first 10 hours of use, but that you can replace the fluid that was
drained out as long as it was kept free from contaminants.
Dehumidifier - drain into sump pump?30 Oct 2008 20:30 GMT12
Yet another dehumidifier question. (For a vacant house, so I need to use
a hose rather than bucket). And yeah, I probably will end up buying the
Sears one if only because it's simpler and I can at least get them to
lift it into my car. Not that I want to waste money, but I don't ...

CPVC pipe to shower valve30 Oct 2008 15:23 GMT6
I am redoing the run from my shower valve to my shower head on the pool side
shower.
Originally it was all copper pipes in and out.  However, the copper pipe
from the shower up the exterior wall, then a 90 degree elbow, then three

Driving eye bolts30 Oct 2008 13:34 GMT21

It there a way to drive them with a battery drill.
I am thinking about at least drilling the hole a little smaller than
the screw.

deck dent filling30 Oct 2008 07:38 GMT4
I want to fill the dent on the deck as shown in the picture (http://
imagebin.org/27673) before painting over it. I'm not sure what the
material is called in English. What is the material that is used to
fill the dent called? Is it plaster (a guess)?
Toilet Worms30 Oct 2008 07:27 GMT17
I've got a toilet that leaks at the base of the toilet.  I know I need to
install a new wax ring.  No problem there.
My issue is that when it leaks, out come these little worms (nasty, I know.)
After I remove the toilet how can I get rid of these creatures?
Tracking down an old part-plumbing30 Oct 2008 04:51 GMT1
I have a customer with an old style two valve tub control. One for the
hot, and one for the cold water. (There is no shower control-this is just
for the tub) The eschutcheon covers are grotty and need to be replaced.
Unfortunately the valves (H&C) have shutoff valves built in, so ...
Sanitize Used High Chair30 Oct 2008 03:35 GMT31
Picked up a used high chair for my grandson at a consignment shop. It looks
clean and in good repair-- I've inspected it carefully-- but want to
sterilize/sanitize it before putting the lad in it.
Suggestions?
