Any problems with whirlpool fridge drawers03 Sep 2008 11:30 GMT4
We were out looking at fridges and notices the whirlpool drawers do not
have rollers or anything like the upper end GE and Samsung do.
I asked the sales guy and he said all whirlpool and kitchenaid are like
that.   Just drawers in plastic track.
Foundation Repair - Interior?03 Sep 2008 04:20 GMT5
We purchased a home about  a year and a half ago that had previous
foundation issues.  The previous owner had paid for foundation repair on two
prior occassions spending over $12,000.  I had assumed that this house would
be better than new since the home now has 24 piers to keep ...
a different way to repair car tire?03 Sep 2008 03:51 GMT23
My tire is punctured by a small screw. I bought a tire plug repair kit, but
it seems like I have to first make the puncture hole *bigger* before I stick
in the plug.
Of the hundreds type of sealant/adhesive sold in home stores, is there one
cutting FRP?03 Sep 2008 01:41 GMT1
I'm still messing with my homemade cistern bug screens... got the first
one fabbed and it works.  Second one didn't have enough material to
make.  Got an idea - instead of using Masonite for the larger one I was
thinking of using those FRP panels for shower stalls.  question is,
How many 12/3 cables in 1/2" (trade) Greenfield?03 Sep 2008 00:20 GMT6
I am having difficulty understanding and applying the NEC tables I
have seen online to cables containing more than one conductor.
Is there any simple rule that says how many 12/3 Romex cables you can
put in flexible conduit (Greenfield)?
Pool Drain Question02 Sep 2008 23:51 GMT10
I have a cover on my swimming pool drain that is round, solid in the
middle and small squares around the outside...it is Miami-Dade
approved.  It is supposed to be held in place with two screws.  My
pool robot frequently gets caught on the lid and I have to push it

Kenmore dryer stops while drying...02 Sep 2008 23:32 GMT4
I have a 5 year old Kenmore gas dryer. The model is 110.73942101.
The dryer often stops running during the cycle before it is time.
Pressing the Start button does not get it going again unless I pulled
the power plug and replug it into the wall.
Repairing stone walk steps02 Sep 2008 23:14 GMT8
I have a stone walk from the front of my house to the driveway, which
has three steps.  The stones that form the top step have come loose
and I want to reset them.  These stones sit half on dirt and half on
other stones that serve as risers from the step below.  I couldn't
I want to switch from propane heat to a heat pump, any concerns?02 Sep 2008 23:05 GMT25
I'm in North Carolina so the weather is relatively mild. I would like to
switch to a heat pump. According to http://hes.lbl.gov/hes/about.html, I
could conservatively save about $1600/year on heating alone. I was as
thorough as possible when completing the survey. Last year my ...
How to Lower Bed or Put it on the Floor?02 Sep 2008 21:57 GMT18
I have had a bedroom set for over 10 years and it is very nice,
however the bed is high off the ground.  It takes a 2 step (original
furniture that came with the set) to get into the bed.  It was ok
while I was young, but now that I am getting older I don't want to
Cork flooring options or reviews?02 Sep 2008 21:44 GMT7
I am planning on installing a floating floor of cork (laminate) planks
in a lower-level room (concrete slab).  I was all set to order Stepco
planks from FastFloors.com when I went looking at vendor reviews -
looks like FastFloors is something of a scam joint.  And it appears
New Cageless Roller Frame02 Sep 2008 21:34 GMT4
I just used Purdy’s Cageless Roller Frame to paint my guest bedroom. I
wanted to paint the walls and ceiling different colors and the
Cageless Roller Frame made it so easy!
This frame allows you to swap out roller-cover frames on the fly, so
Getting sewer & water want to keep well too.02 Sep 2008 20:30 GMT14
Wondering if we keep our well will it freeze due to non use in the winter?
Is there some maintenance that has to be done when shutting down.  It's a
submersible and has a standing pipe, about a foot, in the yard.  They allow
us to keep it for outdoor use.
