What are you guys using for exterior filler on nail holes?   I've been
trying to use the DryDex stuff, but if I don't get to priming the holes in a
suitable timeframe, the spackle seems to melts when it rains.  Thanks.

I have 2" rough cut oak(some warping)sub floor. It was covered with
partial wood and it was still uneven. Can I put a soft foam installation
between this rough oak and new MDF subfloor to level it out? Or is their a

When I attempt to glue a fitting onto a length of 4" schedule 40 PVC,
the fitting tends to push back forcefully after I push it on.  I worry
that I will fail to advance the pipe the full distance into the

We're about to purchase a granite countertop for our new cabinets, and
we are bouncing back and forth on the issue of a backsplash.  We can
buy matching granite for the backsplash and tile between it and the
cabinets, or we can just tile from the countertop all the way to the
