Home Depot Throws Away, But Won't Donate, Brand New Merchandise16 Sep 2008 19:35 GMT43
I was in the tool aisle of Home Depot today and I noticed an employee on
a man-lift taking stuff off of the top shelf and throwing it on the floor.
It was mostly those soft tool bags (more than a dozen) and mostly Home
Depot colors, but there were some other styles mixed in. They ...
spray gun not dispersing water properly16 Sep 2008 19:30 GMT7
http://pastebin.com/d6c6c768b is a picture of my spray gun. My problem
is that when I press the handle, no water comes out unless I loosen
the brass head. The garden hose size is 5/8". I'm not sure anymore on
what else I should be looking at to eliminate this problem. Any
'Dishwasher' drain plumbing16 Sep 2008 18:12 GMT1
I want to drain a small pump through an existing sink drain in the basement.
There is a stubout for an extra sink that was not built. The pump is rated
at 800 gph, but I doubt that it is anywhere near that given it's size. The
pump will not drain more than 20 gallons at a time. ...
new SquareD QO breaker fits a SquareD QO panel *SUPER-lousy* (pix posted)16 Sep 2008 16:58 GMT14
bought a new 50 amp 2 pole breaker to fit into our SquareD 150 amp
breaker panel. it only fits in there "sort of": when installed, it only
fits *way* too far rightward from the other breakers, which means NO
breakers can EVER be put on the right side of it. also, the weird fit

Need small pump16 Sep 2008 12:44 GMT2
I have a problem with a basement leak that only occurs during
extremely bad rainstorms. This occurs once every couple
of years.
Until the problem is solved I need a small quiet water pump that
Minimum distance between ceiling register vent and bath fan?16 Sep 2008 10:39 GMT2
I am re-modeling my bathroom (4X6) and want to put in a bath fan. I
wanted to put it in the center, but there is a supply register in the
same joist bay, which means they will be right next to each other. Is
there any kind of minimum distance they should be apart? I could move
Replacing pressure (diaphragm) switch on sewage pump16 Sep 2008 04:11 GMT1
This weekend, possibly beyond my scope of ability, I tried to replace
the pressure switch on my sewage pump (Hydromatic skv40).  I got a new
Hydromatic pressure switch from a local plumber's parts dept - looks
just like the one I'm replacing.
New WH, still low pressure on hot side16 Sep 2008 04:11 GMT4
I finally replaced my 30-year-old water heater last Monday, with a 6-
year version from BOB (big orange box). Did it all myself, for less
than $400. Would've cost $600+ to have done.
Anyway, I had an issue before with a signifigant drop-off in water

KitchenAid dishwasher - inlet protector16 Sep 2008 01:37 GMT1
My remarkably new Kitchen Aid dishwasher is making the never-ending
gunnnnn-gunnnnn-gunnnn noise that indicates something undigestable is
stuck in the grinder.  I've torn it down past the wash arms and filter
assembly, but am confronted with what RepairClinic.com lables as an
wire splice15 Sep 2008 21:00 GMT38
I'm running around looking for some device which will help me splice wires
together.
What is happening is I seem to cut into power extension chords on outside
jobs.  I hamburger my way into cutting them occasionally, and need a way to
Crown Molding Question15 Sep 2008 18:07 GMT8
Here's one for the interior designers.  Our house has polyurethaned
pine wood trim and base board. We have white ceilings and colored
walls. Can we have white crown molding on the ceiling and keep a
varnished pine wood base board trim?
