Pressure Reducing Valve really necessary?27 Jul 2008 00:10 GMT22
My hot water heater is a 21 year old Rheem.  It still works and does
not leak.  I am planning on replacing it due to the age.  I am
planning on having an AO Smith installed.
Today, the technician who gave me an estmate hooked up some type of
How to pay painter and crew26 Jul 2008 21:01 GMT14
Last year my parents hired a higher end painting company to repaint their
entire interior.  They got a good price but it was still a bit expensive.
I managed the job and let the workers in every day.  The lead guy in the
crew would call me every morning to let them in.
Dehumidifier redux, bought an LG26 Jul 2008 20:19 GMT3
Picked up an LG brand dehumidifier today for possible use in the garage.
This one does appear to work correctly - shuts off when you remove the
bucket; properly restores after unplugging while running and plugging
back in (for how long?  I will find out.)  It is a little on the ...
Need a new porch light fixture.  LEDs ready yet?26 Jul 2008 20:16 GMT12
The light bulb in the fixture on the ceiling of my front porch died last

My Tecnik TKD7000 just started acting strangely. As soon as you switch it
on, it just starts draining. Even with the door open, and no water left
inside. It never stops doing this, no matter how long you leave it. Any
ideas please?

Relative brought two approx. four by six foot close pile carpets

are sometimes called 'Persian Carpets' (No; they do not levitate!)
They were folded while in the shipping boxes for a few weeks. There
Molded wood -vs- plastic toilet seat26 Jul 2008 18:55 GMT12
I replaced a toilet seat. At Home Depot they had a large selection of
various materials - wood, plastic and molded wood. The old one was a
molded wood seat that came with the house.
There seemed to be more molded wood models than any other. The paint
Attempt to save oil26 Jul 2008 18:09 GMT27
I have hot water off my boiler so it's on all summer running a couple
minutes several times a day weather I use hot water or not.
I'm thinking of putting in a 20 gallon electric hot water heater and
shutting down the boiler for the summers. Would I save much? My boiler
Refrigerator H2O filter, indicator light26 Jul 2008 14:25 GMT9
Howdy,
I have a year old Whirlpool fridge.  Water filter change light did its
green-yellow-red routine right at six months, and again at one year.
I am strongly suspecting now that this is a timer, and their is no H2O

A: The fattest woman, with the biggest udders he can find.
